I know this may sound stupid but I am new to mac's. I have just got my new imac with the wireless mouse but can't work out how to right click or if this is even possible?

If not I will have to use another mouse as I can't go without right click.

    Cheers

I did this the other day. Go into system preferences, keyboard and mouse and then on the mouse tab.

It's not the easiest thing to use though, depending on how you hold your mouse. I'd prefer something apple designed with a bit more feel to it.

agreed. Not as sure when I click it that it won't just register as a normal click.

In half a mind to use my MX revolution, but not a fan of wasting another USB slot

Key is when you right click to not have any other finger resting on the mouse I noticed....That's the bit to get used to I found, but once mastered it is very good...

I agree - the Mighty Mouse with a bit of patience is really nice.

Thanks for your help, it's a bit tricky as I am left handed but I'm sure it won't take long to get used to.

    Cheers

Rather than starting a new thread i'll ask my question here.

Im currently using the wired might mouse that came with my mac. The problem is that the scroll ball is crap and i have problems using it. I can scroll up but it won't scroll down as it always seems to be a bit stuck.

Any ideas on how to solve it

It's probably just got dirty. You can roll the ball around on an alcohol wipe or something similar. I find that usually a firm circular movement on a clean cloth seems to work. The mice are notorious for this - as soon as I can find a better bluetooth alternative that matches the imac, I'm buying it.

Yepp, there was a whole thread on this topic with tips like washing in a solution and letting it try while using a spare mouse (not sure, if this was serious) and a lot of other tips.

There are some problems with right clicking on the wireless Mighty Mouse - something seems to happen with the bluetooth settings after a short while and the right clicking stops working.

Turning the mouse off and on again (any I.T. Crowd fans) seems to reset the connection and the button works again.
