Ridge Racer Achievments

Does anybody know where there is a list of achievments for this game. The ones you can access through the dashboard are very vague and tell you that you have to do them to find out what they are. Need to get my gamerscore up a bit.

Anyway, achievement points in RR6 are either hard to get or take a long time to get.

Ridge Racer is not a good way to do this. It will take a lot of playing before the gamerpoints start rolling in. It is a great game though.

Looking at your gamer card and the game syou've played. FIFA RTWC and Condemned would probably give the easiest points if you really want to boost your score. You seem to have a nice collection of games that are less than generous with their points though.

PD0
Oblivion
Ridge Racer
Tiger Woods
Street Fighter II
PGR3

All require some time to extract their juices.

Totally agree with Bish, you need some real dedication to get a lot of points out of Ridge Racer.

If you want some quick points, try Amped 3. It's cheap to buy and good fun for the few days it takes to get most of the achievements. Loved the cut scenes for the story based stuff.

If it's a racing/driving game you're after, you'll get points out of Need For Speed Most Wanted much quicker and easier than RR6.

RR6 is super harsh on its gamer points - I've clocked up 14 hours game time and have 92 points from it so far! Fun game but I just didn't feel like I was getting anywhere in it.

Indeed it is...I've only got 358pts for about 45 hours racing :D

EDIT: 49.5 hours and 4932miles - only another 5068miles and I'll get another 100pts!

16,000 km/10,000 miles driven
Congratulations! 10000 miles is equivalent to driving 2/5th of the way around Earth

Stick at RR6 though - once you get near the end the achievements come thick and fast.

Final Route completion is the toughest achievement I've unlocked so far though so be warned

Yeh, I've seen people quote five hours just to beat the final race

I won the second Master route race earlier, so still got a bit of work to do before the final one.

I just got this game and am enjoying it so far. Can someone tell me the difference between nitrous support on or off? nitrous still works with support off, I can't see the difference except having support switched on gives you the warning that you used nitrous to complete a race. I don't have the manual because I bought a ' promotional copy - not for resale ' on ebay.

what ever you do dont use nitrous support on as it will not let you complete the game you have to do all tracks without it or you will have to do the tracks again the ones with nitrous support on to complete the game.

the diffrence is when its off you only have half nitrous bar when start when you turn it on the three bars are full

do not use it at all i did this on 5 trakcs the last five and i had to do them again with it off to complete the game

just found out about the 10,000 miles i have only done 6,500 miles i was looking at 10,080k hehehehe miss read it well only 3,500 miles to go i am doing no nitrous single tracks now only 4 more achiements to get

but i will only go for the 3 as the 4th one is 150 raves with no crash in cars or walls and thats just about inposs

It's very tough but not impossible. TheBigW has got it and I'm a fair way towards it. I keep meaning to go back to it but there's so much other stuff to play.
