    Hi

I'm looking to buy the KS8000 55' from RS.

I've noted that several users here have had issues with their screens, from skewing to light bleeds.

If I buy from RS, and I have issues with the screen where I am not happy with the quality - is it an easy process to get a refund?

    Thanks in advance.

Depends on how long you use the TV for before reporting the issue. More than likely if only a few days use they will refund or offer an exchange for another TV. Best way is to read there returns policy on there web site.

I wont be using them again after troubles I had.

Purchased TV in January as had the money, collected from store and it sat at home still boxed and unopened until April. Reason being we was going to be decorating and had the whole downstairs replastered before decorating didn't want to muck about putting up and then down several times.

Mounted TV on wall as per instructions and damaged screen in top corner. They refused to accept any responsibility, no damage to box and blamed us for mishandling and causing the damage. Completely incorrect as had been extremely careful so could not have done.

Thankfully I had taken out separate insurance policy and had it replaced on that.

Yeah, I can't see any retailer replacing a damaged TV if it is only reported after 2 months.

Don't see how you can blame Richer for your own failings, you should have at least checked the TV to see that it worked in my opinion.
