    So I brought a 42PW6

    Also
    1. Sky Box RGB
    2. DVD RGB
    3. Humax PVR-8000T RGB
    4. Into Quintro+
    5. Through JS Converter

    All work great

    BUT

    What VCR do you use?
I need a really cheap one with RGB in/out (my JVC only has SVideo)

I know the quality will be rubbish – but there are still times when it is useful

Anyone got one they are using ?

    Anyone with a recommendation?

    Thanks

No such thing as a VHS VCR with RGB output the best you can do is SVideo which you already have !

Why not just buy an s-video input board or a DVD Recorder? There's was some debate on this forum before as to whether or not any VCR will output in RGB but don't know myself.

I thought that all VCrs advertising NTSC on SCART were outputting RGB
cos NTSC on composite or s-video won't work on PAL tv sets, but NTSC
    on RGB will.

So assuming no one has got an RGB VCR

Maybe I should rephrase the question.

Anyone got a S-Video to RGB converter?

Anyone got a DVD recorder that takes S-Video in on one socket and puts RGB out on another? I.e. does not just pass what ever signals straight through like my PVR-8000T does.

Most DVD recorders will do that, in fact the Panasonic E55 or E85 will do RGB or progressive scan component video from an s-video input. Many AV amps perform this stunt too, well not progressive, but that's not always everything it's cracked up to be, so if you need sound too, there's another option. The yamaha 750 and Onkyo 602 are where that technology kicks off.
