What is the difference between RGB and Component video Y Pr Pb? Or are they the same under different names. The rear of my DVD (Cyberhome adl528) has 3 output jacks with the Y Pr Pb & RGB labels by each jack. Can the Y Pr Pb feed in to a RGB Scart socket? Are these completely stupid questions?

Y Pr Pb is an analogue compressed RGB signal. They are NOT compatible. You cannot plug YPrPb in to a Scart equipped Tv and expect it to work. Only TV with this capability, that I know of, are some Loewe's. Even then you must go in to a set up menu on the TV and tell it that YPrPb is coming in on the scart input.
