I have just seen a rgb to vga converter developed by js tech. Is this better for picture quality than rgb to component converter [js tech] for connecting to a plasma screen?

    Any experience? Ideas?

Don't know but going to find out on Monday when Sky+ gets installed, previously had RGB to VGA with Sky...................................now putting everthing to my amp and one component cable to plasma.

So bought a RGB to component converter in the classifieds.................don't think they'll be much diff..................................might also depend on the digibox i get.......................Amstrad  or Pace :smashin:

    Cheers,Tam

It depends on which plasma screen you are using. Some (Sony in particular I seem to remember) don't work with the VGA converter. Those that can work with either the VGA or YUV converter - no colour saturation control with the VGA version, but usually available with the YUV one. Unlikely to be much of an issue IMHO but I know that another ISF calibrator might not agree with me on that point : ))
