RGB to component ?

    i have a sky+ hooked up to a logik lcx27wn2 lcd tv with scart and a tosh330 dvd with component, the tosh is v-good but the sky+ is not so.
    any one know if a scart RGB to component converter will improve this? :lease:

    If you have Sky connected to the LCD with the scart socket outputting RGB then you will see very little, if any improvement IMO by converting the RGB to component.
    Unfortunatley most Sky channels are transmitted with a low bit rate and therefore there is very little you can do to improve the signal. If you have the budget you could put Sky (and DVD) through a video processor, but at £1000+ they are an expensive upgrade.

    hi sorry to butt into your thread,
    im thinking of buying one of these for a bedroom set up, are they any good ? they do seem cheap for a 27" lcd
