I am on the verge of purchasing phd8 panny. Inputs confusion. I am adding inputs hdmi and component board or vga from a freeview box to screen. Which one would be better for freeview and do I need to purchase a rgb scart to vga converter such as the js tech unit?

With vga, will the screen be able to turn it into a progressive image like component inputs?

    Anyone?

Hi, I have just bought a PHD8 and had the same problem. I bought a scart RGD to VGA cable from Maplins and it works a treat. Great solution for only £60

everything you throw at a progressive plasma (most, inc pannys) will be turned into progressive, its the only way they can work.

yes it's male to male. The JS uses the best components but in terms of PQ results it gives a much better picture, better, more realistic colours and much sharper images.
