    Hi
This has bugged me for a while now...
I've got a toshiba 28W8DB tv and only EXT1 supports RGB, essentially making ext2 & 3 useless in my opinion.

If I bought an xbox (and the extra rgb compatible cable! - bandits!) what on earth would I do. My tv decoder is in RGB1 !

I currently have a dreamcast in my s-video / EXT3 connector and the quality of that is decent, although not quite as good as RGB scart in my opinion (i've tried both on it).
I don't know if s-video cables are available for the xbox but really its not the perfect solution (Although certainly acceptable).

    Comments?

You could get a Scart switching box....allowing multiple RGB sources to go to one RGB feed on your TV.

s-VIDEO is available for XBOX. I'd guess RGB should be better....

These switch boxes...do they cause any loss in quality?
Why make tv's with 2 non-rgb scarts. it seems a lot suffer from the same condition

    Thank you.
I've been considering the philips 28PW9617C. I looked in the manual and it has 2 RGB's so thats great.
Just need some more £££ first!
