Currently have my Grundig Sky Digibox connected to a cheap & nasty (& very bugged) Bush DVD recorder via SCART passing through my DigiSender.

Replacing the Bush with a Sony RDR-HXD910S on Friday. For optimum quality I'd naturally like to turn on RGB output on AV1 of the Sky Digibox but am concerned that this will turn off the composite information and render the DigiSender unusable as this only handles Composite.

Anyone know if this will be the case?

Possibly. Can't you connect the digisender to AV2 ?

I think, when I originally bought the DigiSender I'd connected to AV2 first without success. I suppose it's worth a 2nd try when the new recorder arrives.

If I can't get it to work, I'll be stuck with composite as the missus would kill me if she couldn't watch Forensic Detectives/FBI Files on Discovery in bed ;)
