rgb question

    i have toshiba tv with 3 scart connections can i use a rgb scart to connect my dvd player or do's one the scart as to say rgb on the tv . i know they do't carry sound ,

    A SCART cable can carry both RGB and audio on the same cable - that would be a fully wired SCART as opposed to an "RGB only SCART".
    You need to check your TV's manual or specifications to see which SCART inputs (and how many of them) are RGB compatible.

    thanks chris i found this nothing about rgb, Pro-Logic and pseudo-surround modes; on/off timer; picture NR; three Scarts; two S-Video inputs; composite video + stereo audio phonos in; stereo audio phonos in; stereo audio out; Fastext; 2 x 10W to fronts, 13W to superwoofer, 10W to centre, 2 x 5W to rear; NTSC 3, thanks

    Post the TV model number; then an owner may be able to tell you how many RGB SCARTs you have.

    There is often a small symbol by a scart socket denoting that it is RGB.
    It looks like 3 dots in a rectangle (or at least it does on my Sony)
