When I select the RGB output option on my digibox I cant seem to get teletext. My TV is a panny Tx25??..about 9 years old. The digibox is connected to AV1

Is it normal not to be able to get teletext when RGB is selected?

    Thanks,

What are we talking about here: digital text services on Sky, or analogue teletext from your aerial?

Digital text services are available in both RGB and PAL viewing modes (as you would expect). Setting RGB only changes the method used to send the video signal from the digibox to the TV. It does not affect which services are available.

You forgot to give us the MAKE and MODEL of your (presumably) Sky Digibox.

There is a known fault on some Pace Sky Digiboxes which can cause the symptom that you describe. It's a factory repair since a chip must be replaced.
