which is the best connection, rgb or commponent for connecting dvd to tv,thanks pikachu.
Component is better than an rgb scart for connecting from dvd-->tv because dvd's are encoded in component video so you get a better quality picture (even more so if your dvd player and tv support progressive scan)
Not many TV's have the ability to Input an Interlaced or Progressive YUV ‘Component' video signal – whilst most TV's do have the ability to Input an RGB interlaced ‘Component' video signal (via SCART).
As iSix says if you do have the option of YUV and especially so if its YUV Progressive then go with that option.
thanks for help..
Which would you say is better:
YUV component or 'digital' RGB through DVI??
