I have a panasonic satellite reciever, and I notice when I was goint through the menu that I can switch between PAL and RGB. But I don´t see a difference in the picture. What does an RGB signal look like when it´s connected to a scart input that´s not RGB conmatible? I have a widescreen TV, should I set the reciever to widescreen or normal, how does this affect channels that are normal and widescreen like sky premier ws???

You have to connect it to an RGB scart connection on your TV for it work.
It makes a big difference to the picture (IMO).

You should set your box to 16:9. Many channels are broadcast in 16:9, others are 4:3 - they will appear stretched. Premiere WS is broadcast in 16:9 - if the film is 16:9 it will fill the screen - if it is wider then you will get black bars.

There are also answers to your duplicate post in the tv section. Keep it to one section in future.
