I have a Sony KDE-P37XS1 and have a problem connecting my Sky digital box in RGB mode.

When I switch from PAL to RGB output (in the setup menu) on the Sky box the picture is fine and appears to switch into RGB mode.

However whenever I switch Scart control on from the setup menu the picture turns yellow?? If I turn off the Scart control the picture returns to normal?

Does anyone know what is causing this?

PS I am using a Cambridge Audi 21 pin Scart cable connected to the RGB input on the KDE-P37XSI (AV2).

Tracked the problem down to a Scart coupler with a loose connection on the blue output pin.

NB Sky digi boxes will only output RGB if Scart control is turned on as well.

Is that a fact! I have the same set up as you and thought it must just be me - I couldn't see a difference between RGB and PAL - but I have scart control switched off. Thanks for the tip.
