    Hi,

I've found you can't get AV amps with RGB composite sync (scart rgb) inputs and outputs, which means you have to drop down to s-video or worse still composite, has anyone found a AV which does RGB Scart? :lease:

    Pioneer VSX-C301

4 RGB scarts round the back.

Not the last word in home cinema performance, but a solidly-built & well-equipped unit nonetheless.

You should be able to get one for less than £175 new.

The old Marantz SR8/9300 had a Scart switch and the new shiny Arcam AVR300 can handle RGB signals by switching the component video over which is a pretty nifty trick. It is about 8 times as expensive as the Pioneer however.

The Arcam AVR300 can accept RGB signals on its component inputs with sync on composite. You need to get Scart-4 Phono Cables and 4 Phono-Scart Cables. These can be ordered as custom cables from QED. It will also upconvert composite and s-video inputs to RGB also.
