my pioneer dvd 530 is set to rgb out, do I have to set the tv to rgb to get the full picture benefit? it currently uses AV2.

also my telewest box is set to AV2, is this ok? my sony dav amp is on AV1. AV3 is not being used.

    ps what's sticky mean.
    cheers

the set up menus on the tv should tell you which scart is enabled for RGB some are switchable. or check the instruction manual

Usually only AV1 is RGB enabled so you should probably run your DVD into your freeview box and from there to the TV...otherwise if your freeview box doesn't have 2 RGB enabled SCARTS (mine doesn't) you should get the RGB enabled SCART switcher...actually if your Sony AV receiver is RGB enabled on all its SCARTs you can plug everything into it and keep it connected to AV1...
