Just got my 32" TX-PS1 Panasonic yesterday, and have noticed that when using the RGB channel, that i cannot change the screen format to 4:3!, i remember my mate having the same problem on his Samsung, is this usually the case for most TVs to be forced into widescreen on the RGB channel?

    Lettuce,

Sorry, I'm sure someone would have replied earlier, but what exactly do you mean by "The RGB Channel"?

TV's have several Scart inputs, some of which can be programmed to accept RGB rather than composite video.

Is this what you are talking about?

    Lettuce,

Not sure if your model is different, but whilst viewing an RGB source through AV1, my PD30 will definately switch between the various aspect ratios.

    Hope this helps.
