Does anybody know of a scart switch that has at least two inputs & two outputs that is RGB throughout? I have a sky+ box & a DVD player that I want to be abe to send RGB output to either a TV or an AE700 Projector at the flick of a switch.

I can find a multitude of scart switches that have one output, but none with two. I have considered using the recording out function of most switches as my second output, but all of them seem to ignore RGB on this output.

Am I missing something simple?

Hi, I've just got in and checked the instructions and the Triton has rgb/svhs on one of the outputs(tv) and svhs on the other(vcr). The inputs are also rgb/svhs. Hope this helps.

It seems the drawback with the Triton is that it only has one RGB output. Does ayone know of a unit that has 2 RGB outputs (and at least two RGB inputs). I have exactly the same problem as redknag. I want to connect my Cable, DVD and PS2 to both my TV and projector, and would like to have RGB throughout. Is this possible?

BTW I also have the Panny AE700 which (unually for a pj) has a RGB scart input, thus why I would like RGB throughout.

The B-tech Quintro + will do what you want. The older model won't and can be identified by the inputs having names (LD, SAT) not numbers (1-5).
It'll take 4 RGB inputs and gives 2 RGB outputs.
Mine introduced a bit of hum through the sub which I cured by disconnecting the ground on the phono lead that connects the amp to the sub. This may be more to do with my cabling and all the stuff running off the same sockets than a fault with the Quintor+

Can be had for £65 delivered from http://www.qed-uk.com/q/index.html?vp=6&bg=108&bp=quintros&bi=0&ird=1117

Thanks AMc, that's exactly what I'm after. Nice price too. I should have noticed it myself really on the B-Tech website!

Glad to hear it - I was impressed with mine. Just works, I have only needed to get that tiddly remote out twice in several months and then because I'd done something stupid with the PJ powered up and the TV hidden behind the screen.
