    Hi all,
When I use my video recorder the reception quality on the TV decreases. The manual advises to change the pre set transmission (RF out channel) frequency to stop this happening.

How do I find out what to set this to for my area, which is Portsmouth

The video is a philips vr730

    Any info would be appreciated

    Many thanks

    Andy

I am not sure which transmitter you will be using but there are a few on this BBC site and one of them will be yours.

Avid numbers +/- 2 or +/- 5 from a used channel is the rulke of thumb isn't it? There are calculators on the web.
