Reviving a Bang & Olufsen Beomaster 6000 4 Channel

Hey folks,

My parents have an old Beomaster 6000 4 channel purchased in Denmark. It seems cruel to leave something so beautiful tucked away in a cupboard.

I’m doing some house renovations but would like to incorporate it somehow into a modern setup.

My thoughts were to use one of these cables and connect up to a Chromecast audio.

Now for my stupid question. My parents also have some old KEF tower speakers that I was intending to use.

What kind of cable would I need to connect them together.

Would this setup work? Would it be a sensible use? As you can tell I’m a novice 😃

Speaker cable red (+ve) to left and right the 2 blacks (-ve) to the common ground (room for 2 sets of speakers).

As for Chromecast no idea looks like the beomaster has some sort of din plug so I guess what your looking at will work (says so anyway).

Different design some piccies would be nice. ;)

Cheers! Sounds straight forward enough. It’s bloody heavy!!! Found an equally heavy tape deck and the manuals too.

Lovely. The speaker connections are probably on DIN plugs, so you might have to buy some to terminate your speaker cables.
