Those monoblocks rock! Astounding clarity, no harshness (is Krell still
in business, by the way?) total authority and an amazing soundstage. More
fun than you would expect from those sleek looking mono blocks. My
girlfriend loves how they look and I don't miss my old clunky tube amps
one bit. Other brands I listened to: Classe, Macintosh, Passlab, Krell,
    Boulder, Halcro.

Don't buy these if you are driving very large speakers at rock concert
level, for those I would go and spend the extra cash to get the AMP MAX.
For everyone else, they are perfect. Very distinguished highs, utter
realism in the soundstage and timbre, very nice dynamics. I have heard
more dynamic amps (VTLs) but they had other shortcomings, primarily that
they only sounded really good at one (fairly loud) volume level. If you
need a versatile, very low distortion amp that also sounds extremely open
and musical (but still correct and german - accurate), look no further.
    Five stars!
