Returning Q mini equipment

    morning, I’ve searched and can’t find the answer.

    I cancelled multi screen and SKY have sent me the cardboard to send back the equipment. Do they just want the mini box or the power lead and remote. It doesn’t say on any of the included paperwork.

    They will want ALL the equipment so the mini box,power lead and remote control.

    Ok thanks, just got to figure it how to fit it all in cos it seems like I can only fit the box in

    I'm also about ready to receive the return packaging. Thanks for the link. It was much easier when you could just chuck it on eBay or the tip

    This is one aspect of Sky’s T&Cs that I particularly despise.

    They ask you to pay for the Mini Q.

    Me- “so I’m buying it, it’s mine”
    Sky - “no you are not buying, it is ours”.

    Me - “so that is the rent then”
    Sky - “no you are not renting it”.

    Me - “what is the £99 for then”
    Sky - “installation and set up”.

    Me - “really, £99 for the installation of a Sky Mini, it’s a 5 minute job, I’ll do it myself”
    Sky - “no you can’t do that, we have to install it”.

    Me - “so if it breaks, it is your problem and you fix/replace it”
    Sky - “yes it is covered for 12 months”.

    Me - “what if it breaks after 12 months”
    Sky - “then we will repair it but their will be a charge of £65”

    Me - “why is there a charge, it isn’t my equipment”
    Sky - “tough”

    Not only do Sky have their cake and eat it but they get you to buy it for them.
