Hey, do you mean a Raspberry Pi? Retropie is an Emulator frontend used on Pi, simple as download the image and load it into the micro SD card.
Ok i see. Ive seen them as packaged up. If anyone got one as a package as wouldnt want to mess it up.
What games you want to emulate, snes mega drive and below? A pi zero will do this, or a little higher, some n64, some ps1, will need a pi3. Let me know as been selling these complete consoles on eBay for a while now.
i do a pi zero within an old game cartridge, 16gb micro sd card, 2 controllers, mains plug, hdmi, it has a 3 port usb connected also has an on/off button which pi's dont normally have, this will play everything from snes below £65. I normally do a pi 3 version which is a little bit more but dont have any currently.
Looks good and different. I am looking for a normal one though as will be looking to make my own arcade cabinet in the future. So also would like best version as possible to future proof
I got one from the usual site £59.99 Pi3 w/ Retropie fully loaded + controller... its bloody awesome I spend hours reliving my Amiga days. Whatever you get I doubt you will be disappointed.
Here's a link to the complete kit. Raspberry Pi 3 Media Centre Kit You would need the image file, check Rey's image on Google, it's free for all and it's as simple as copying it onto the micro SD. It's the same file any seller would use. Main reason for posting the link and recommending this method, if you were to buy it from eBay you would still need to do a little research into how to operate it and stuff.
