Up for sale is my beloved bartop arcade which I've spent countless time, effort and money(!) on. I only completed it over the weekend but reality hit with my wife that we have nowhere to put it!

It runs like a dream with RetroPie on Raspberry PI 3. Roms will not be included for copyright purposes, although most retro platforms are covered.

For art I've used cut vinyl graphics on a textured paint and primer surface.

This has been an enthusiastic DIY effort which has received many compliments and is easily maintainable with modular parts which are cheaply replaceable from eBay and the net. If anything worth mentioning , there's some static interference with the speakers when turned up but not noticeable once gaming due to the volume. These can be easily replaced as they connect via normal 3.5mm and USB.

The buyer can freely change parts as they will although it is a lovely system all ready to enjoy as it stands :) It all powers up via one normal UK plug - Ready to go out the box - just plug and play !.

A journey of the build can be found here:

Finally Completed - My Street Fighter Retro Bartop Arcade

As well as a few vids walking through it:

My DIY Street Fighter Bartop Arcade - Retropie

    Specs

    17inch NEC Monitor
    Raspberry Pi 3
32GB MicroSD card with KODI/Retropie/EmulationStation installed alongside a lot of platforms. Can store over 50k ROMS.
2 LED lit micro switched joysticks
9 LED lit push buttons per side
2 Front USB Ports for extra controllers and keyboard/mouse
    2 SNES style USB controllers
1 PS Dual Shock style controller
4 Port USB dock plus additional ports on the Raspberry Pi
Kodi installed - needs add on configs

Collection would be from Streatham/Norbury in South London SW16 or I would consider delivering upto 150 miles from SW16 with £20 towards the convenience.

Else shipping would be to UK Only for an additional £50 - I would insure it but would definitely prefer collection for such a weighty product.

That's absolutely gorgeous mate, fantastic piece of work.

Are the emulators all pre-configured so it's literally start-up and play, or does it still need some setup work doing?

Yep all pre configured, right out the box. Just plug and plug. Even set the controllers up for both arcade and console. Only thing needs config is KODI with repos but that's normal.

    Looks lovely!

The machine does it boot up via a micro sd and is this supplied? on your images of your build there is a hard disk on the back of the cabinet by the looks of it, is this supplied? as it is not in your specs , if it is supplied can you advise of the capacity of the drive? if not is it much of a fudge to install the potential purchaser a new drive and what kind of drive does it need to be?

    Hi,

Yes it's all supplied. It boots via a 32gb MicroSD. If you look at the details of the build I changed it from a PC setup to a RaspberryPI

"Ultimately it's built off a Raspberry Pi as I decided to ditch the PC components in the end given RetroPie and EmulationStation have such slick frontends. "

As a result, it's all plug and play, just turn it on, it starts up, all the emulations are presented and their list of roms provided their copied on.

32GB houses over 50,000 roms. If you wanted to change the HDD, any normal HDD is usable aslong as it is connected via USB (any adaptor on eBay let's you do this).

Although I can't imagine anyone getting bored of over 50k games !
