Can anyone explain why some retailers add additional letters after a camcorder description e.g. Sony DCR TRV 950 sometimes has a capital E after the title. Panasonic NV-MX500 sometimes has a capital B after the title. Also has anyone used either of these cams or the Canon XM2. I am moving to digital from Analogue. I edit on my PC with Canopus DV Storm and Adobe Premier 6. I then burn to VCD.

E usually means Europe where Sony is concerned, whereas B quite often indicates Britain (or possibly Bluetooth, not entirely sure on that one)
