Just wanted to show the work i have done so far.
This is my converted loft that i have turned into a cinema room.
I am currenty a student at uni and i live at home.(till work)
so this room is only temp. Hence no projecters or behind wall storage for equipment.
Things to be added are a new tv prob the tosh 42wp36, a new dvd player and another set of rears.
So tell me what you think of the photos.

The room has been done with a budget of about £130 for Paint, Lights, Frames(ikea's best), Pictures and Racks
By the way the light switch was £20 from "That big DIY store"
and its remote programable. So simple but so cool. Every one should have one.

    The "Doctor Who" Position:eek:

thoughts ' I wonder what all those cars in boxes are? '
and ' hope he's saving up for a replacement for that TV so that the visuals match his fabulous audio'

*sigh* as a student I had a crappy ghettoblaster and b&w portable.....

Looks good..best of luck with your studies.

    Regards,

Looks good just need to Bi-Amp those fronts........

What does the 2200 sound like with music?

I only have a 28" TV because it has to go in a cabinet, trying to convince my wife we need a plasma, which will take years to save for, some of us have kids.

IMO the pw2200 is great with music. It keep's up with fast bass lines , is clear, and intergrates nicely.
I couldn't stand to have my old sub connected when playing music
sounded like the drummer was on dope and 5 seconds behind the rest of the band
But now(with the pw2200), i don't even notice it when its playing. I only notice it when i switch it off. Which i think is a good thing.

But then again i have never heard a SUB that's ""really"" good with music, so i don't have anything to compare it to.

    And the cost. "well"
Im tempted to get another at that price.

some how i don't think the 5300 is capable of pushing the 908's anywhere near there limits. mabye the 903 rear's, but i have never noticed it.
