Hi All
I am looking to get a TV for around £500 for our front lounge. Currently got a 26" samsung however could do with a larger set and looking to sell this one on gumtree or something.
Width of tv is a problem. I only have around 900mm width to play with as TV is going in a corner on top of a TV cabinet.
So far based on sizes I am looking at the Panasonic
PANASONIC VIERA TX-40CX700B
Seems a decent model, I already got a Panasonic in the main room and with my company discount I can get for £505 from the £549 price tag at Currys/PC World. Shame its not with Richer sounds though......
I am going to commit tomorrow but before I do would there be any other considerations that I should seriously look into?
My requirements
Good 2D picture
4K picture the best possible based on budget of TV.
decent sound (as not planning to get a sound bar) for the moment
Use for occasional gaming.
Good Smart TV features with Mirroring, Netflix and Amazon Prime as key feature.
Any advice would be great.
