Resoultion from DVD to 506XDE.

Which resolution should i feed my 506xde with from my DVD?
Since the display shows 1280*768 and thats not a standard res, Is it better to output 1080i than 720p from the DVD?

I was under the impression that the display handled the interlaced signal better than a progressive

Hello,

As you have the equipment and a working set of eyeballs you might want to try it yourself.....

If it were me, I would set the DVD player to 625P and let the plasma scale the video signal just the once but I would also experiment to see what I prefer.
