Guys i have my mce connected to a 1440 x 900 wide screen pc monitor using normal tv signal which has a resolution of 720 x 576. The picture i am getting from the source is good but its a bit blocky on the monitor. My question is can i do something to my resolution when running tv or is there any software that can do this heard a bit about powerstrip but not sure what these actually do any advice would be good

I would guess that the problem is because i am showing a source image of 720 x 576 on a screen resolution of 1440 x 900 and it is being blown up like a digital zoom hence the loss in quality, am i right
    Chris

So, what happens if you output at 1440 x 900?

Correct. Have a look at TheatreTek or FFDShow. Can't remember which one, but one of them has an upscaling routine to clear up images like this.
