    Hi,

Anyone know of a quick way to reset a Denon amp?

Have scoured the manual but cant find it......

Was easy on my Sony, just simply press on with a certain button on the facia pressed down..... :lesson:

    Thanks,

    Captain Benefit :smashin:

It should be in the manual under Initializacion of the Processor. Usually involves holding down two buttons on the front panel whilst turning the power on, the display flashes while you hold the buttons and resets the amp. Bear in mind this will reset everything to the defaults.

Just checked. Hold down the Input Mode and Analog button on the front panel whilst turning the power on. :)

it's on page 52 of my manual - as Jase says " Initialization of the Processor" - there's a heading in the contents

(and the award for the worst user manual ever goes to .....AVR-2805! really they should just ask someone if their translation makes any sense before going to print...rant over)
