    Hi,

I'm possibly looking to find one the Sony 16" widescreen TV's, but haven't yet been able to find any technical info on this unit.

    Does anyone know...

    Sony model no?
Dimensions? Especially depth as we have about 15" to play with!
SCART connectors for plugging a DVD player in?
Left and Right Audio Out for connecting the TV's stereo output to a AV Amp for Dolby Pro-Logic II?

    Many thanks in advance.

The Son 16" CRT is now discontinued... smallest Sony widescreen I think is now 24"

If you need a compact unit, consider a LCD screen. Although PQ does not match CRT.

PQ of LCDs suffers from different shortcomings to those of CRTs. It's a matter of opinion as to whether absolutely perfect geometry, convergence, stability and absence of refresh rate flicker outweigh poorer black levels and limited contrast. The other issue of limited viewing angle is largely gone with certain newer models eg. from Samsung and Sharp.

I used to own the Sony 16" and will try to help.
    I can't remember the model number, but I think it's KV16 WS 1B.
The depth was greater than you'd think and will be a close call with 15" to play with.
There is one SCART, which is composite/RGB.
Most importantly regarding audio out, be careful! There were actually two versions of this TV, one mono, one stereo. Most were mono.
