    Hello there,

    Just a quick question,

Looking to buy a new TV, probably
the panasonic 32pd30 or the tosh 32zp38

    We live in Dublin,

just wanted to get the opinions of folk in the republic,

have you been successsful, most online retailers only deliver
    to the UK.

or any advice on currys/dixons/peats etc in dublin, any good offers out there

    thanks in advance

Im in a similar state to yourself. In Dublin and it seems impossible to get the tv's you mentioned here. I have bought some stuff from techtronics.com before and found them very good. But im concerned that buying a uk TV will not work with irish analogue signal? I belive there are different tuners used in Irish TVs but im not sure what the difference is.

    Irish Analogue Signal??

    eh,

I dont think there is any difference between here and the UK,

I bought a 14inch portable Sony TV in Glasgow years ago,
and it works fine here in Dublin.

Anyway purchasing a Top of the Range CRT TV, i would not be limiting my viewing habit to the irish analogue signal,

    rte1, network2, tv3, tg4, ha ha lol

Surely a Sky digital connection is a must for any footie fan these days.

the home entertainment sys is not complete without surround sound package, dvd player, quality tv & sky digital.

my experience of currys in ireland: shop in liffeyvalley centre has
    both

pana tx32pd30 & tosh 36zp38 both look great, but
the sales staff are bull**** merchants, they dont even know the model numbers of the boxes, its shocking really.

One guy described the black metal type surround of the tosh mentioned above actully improved the reception - lol.

anyone else come across reputable tv sellers here in dublin/republic.

    thanks in advance
