Hi there. Has anyone tried replacing the speaker grill cloth on their Genie's to a different colour? I'd like to replace the black with a magnolia to make them more discreet when wall mounted, but was wondering about the best way to do it? I may try giving Mordaunt-Short a bell to see if they can sell me the bare plastic frame with no cloth yet glued on, before self destruct mine.

Also, anyone know a good place that sells speaker cloth in different colours?

Radiosilks is the place. I'm afraid I don't know their web address but a search should find them.

ok, how much is it gonna cost?!

Taking a quick look at mine, it looks glued on all round, so I was going to rip it off, sand it down and (try) to apply the new cloth when I get some. Would it be possible for me to purchase the basic 'frame' before the cloth goes on, or do you buy them in ready made?
