Hi, my portable earphones have given up on one speaker. I think its because the volume control got caught on things over and over until a problem developed with the wiring.

So I'd like new earphones in the same price range, as good sound quality, some noise cancelling, and probably opt for no in-line controls, unless maybe the cable is detachable (so nothing gets broken).

    Any recommendations?

I'm also considering blue tooth ones, which are no doubt considerably more expensive, but doing away with the cable altogether would be handy. How much are ones with this sound quality?

I think I've got PX-200's, nice small folders with a hardcase supplied?
I don't believe Sennheiser offer anything similar nowadays, I'd bite the bullet and buy the Bose Comfort 25 noise cancelling headphones. Larger but Bose really do have the NC licked.
