Forever question it seems : is it possible to change the HDD in the Pana DMR 75EX and have it recognize by the firmware ? The HDD being the most fragile part of the machine as well in computers...

    Tks.

If it's the same as previous Panasonic's (speak from experience with an E85). You can fit another or even a larger HDD, but bigger will be will be limited to the capacity of the original.

Tks for your answer. You mean that the firmware won't recognise the larger capacity HDD ? If that is the case it's really incredible how manufacturers deliberately set a limit to their machines ! Which are in a way not any more complex than a family computer...

One imagines they do not want you to tinker with their machines ... but buy this years 'improved' model.
