I've had my samsung LE40A656 since 2008 and while it's fine functionally, I'm looking a something with a slightly larger screen size, and more modern looking (the big thick 2" bezel ain't cool no more)
I run sky hd via my xbox one and use it for games and blurays too. Picture quality is important to me, but not sound as I have surround sound setup. I'm also interested in SMART options and 3D, but not essential.
I've seen the LG 47LA620V on Currys and Richer Sounds for £500 which seems like good value, unless it's an absolute stinker.
