Here's the situation:
I have the two desk speakers and the volume control box, as well as the accompanying cables, but I don't have the sub-woofer unit. The problem is that the audio from the computer goes into the sub-woofer first, then through the volume control box and onto the desk speakers - meaning that without the subwoofer the desk speakers are rendered more or less useless.
The easiest thing to do would be to buy a replacement sub-woofer, but not knowing anything about them I have no idea if just any subwoofer would do or if it needs to have specific connections (e.g. be the same as the original sub woofer).
Any insight into the problem would be greatly appreciated!
