Replacement Speakers... is it worth it?

    Hiya.

    I have at the moment a Yamaha HTIB-45 Home cinema package
    as seen on here

    Would it be worth changing the speakers for a difference sub 100quid set?
    , would the change be noticable? note i would still be using the woofer from the yammy package.

    My opinion, No. It is basically a sideways step which isnt worthwhile.

    im pretty sure you can get better speakers for £60 anyhow. But i'd stick where you were until you can afford a bigger amount.

    I agree with buns that it is at most a sideways step. The HTIB is a reasonable performer for the size and price and you would need to spend more than £100 to hear much of an improvement
