Unfortunately I'm now in the position I may have to replace my beloved Sony HD3 - the battery doesn't hold as much of a charge it used to...
Depending on cost, I may just replace the battery or get a new player.
However, what I would like to know from readers is how does the A3000 range compare in sonic terms/usabilty?

    Many thanks

I personally think the HD3 is superior in almost every respect to the A3000.

Not only is the former smaller and lighter but it also has better sound quality.

I have an HD3 (sadly with slightly faulty headphone socket now), an A3000 and an 80gb ipod and I like the HD3 most out of all of them.

I wish I had not bought an A3000 and just stumped up £75 to send my HD3 back to Sony for repair straight away (I am probably going to do this shortly anyway).

    Regards

    Tom
