I am just about to build my own power cables using the Supra Lo-Rad cable..(more as a experiment than anything else) and having checked my amp and dvd player both were originally fitted with 5 Amp fuses.

Now I have been using some RA cable and I am pretty sure they all come in their sealed plugs with 13Amp fuses.. so is this really a danger to my equipment? . I have to admit I had not thought about this when I bought the cables?

    Cheers

    Matt

P.S anyone know of good suppliers for high quality Plugs and IEC connectors ?

I use MK unswitched plugs - these are not expensive but offer a much higher performance than standard plugs.
