Hi I've had my laptop a while I dont know if I should replace it or fix it.
The battery has gone as well as the lead is not lighting up any more.
The laptop I have is Trusted Reviews
I only use it for spotify, iTunes a bit of web surfing, just stuff I can't do on my iPad backing up photos videos. I don't really want to spend much. Maybe no more than 250 to 300 pound.
Any advice please.

Can't you just get a replacement battery and if necessary charger?

You don't appear to use the laptop for much. Do you even need a replacement battery, just get a new charger and only use it on the mains.

Without knowing how you find your current machine and how much it'd cost to fix I'd have said you could go either way, a £750 2009 laptop should have a couple of years life left in it for most people but it's also old enough that there'll be things a new laptop at a third of the price would do better (as well as things it'd do worse, it is a third of the price after all).
