Question Replacement for kef 2005.2 subwoofer psw 2010

    Hi i am looking at replacing the above subwoofer. I would appreciate any advice as i am new to this. Thanks in advance

    Has the sub gone pop? If so and you don't want to upgrade wasn't there somebody repairing them

    Thinking of bk but as direct sales not comfortable as would prefer a shop

    Just pay with credit card.

    If you buy a mainstream brand you will pay 50% more for similar subwoofer.

    Yes thats what it seems like. Looking at getting the bk 400

    that is ideal for small-medium rooms for home theatre and music.
    For larger rooms for movies I'd go for the Monolith.

    If you're looking at 12" sealed box there's the SVS SB2000. The BK has a higher grade finish, but I believe the SVS is superior for movies.

    I am thinking of buying the bk xxls400 Has anyone purchased the sound care super spikes advertised on BK website and would they be required. I am thinking of purchasing FF

    I've got an xxls400 but didn't see the need to pay more for the super spikes. It comes with regular spikes and a levelling nut that screw into the main feet so I don't really know what they'd add...
