With the price being dropped further to £850, is it likely that the 4810 is waiting to be announced in September at Cedia (or is it CES). Although it may simply be the case that we are witnessing a dogfight with the H30a.

I think it's basically to keep up with the recent LCD PJ price drops (Z3 & AE700) as well.

HD capability for £850 plus a free bulb must be killing SD machines like the 4805. And if people preferred the PQ of the TX100 over the 4805 in that TV test, they may well prefer the Z3 too. When you are up against that, it's no wonder the price is tumbling. H30a next?...PJ :)
