I am looking for a replacement for my ATI AIW 8500DV card, it’s been okay upto now but lately it keeps crashing with coloured horizontal lines (is this a known fault). I have updated the drivers but this has not helped.

Also the TV capture is not very good at all, most of the time I have just used TV out feature to watch movies on my TV (the remote is pretty good).

So what would be a good replacement well this is what I need it to do:
    1. Watch Movies
    2. Capture TV
    3. Photo editing
    4. Remote is a must

I don’t play games so I not after a gamer’s card. I heard that Windows XP Media Center has good TV capture, so is it the card that improves capture or a combination of the card and software? Or should I wait for Microsoft to release XP Media Center as an OS.

    What do you think?
