    Morning,

I've got the above all-in-one system and the DVD player stopped working
a couple of weeks ago. After an hour or so the payer starts to skip
then locks up. The vents at the top get very hot just on the right hand
side. LG aren't interested because it's out of warranty and the repair
centre they recommended have said it'll be another two weeks (making a
total of a month!) before they can look at it.

I'm going to pick it up tomorrow but is it worth getting it repaired?
If it works out cheaper to buy a new player can I get one that'll fit
the old speakers? All the speakers and sub plug into the back of the
player. Had a look around the net but I can't find any pictures of the
back of it. Might make more sense if I can get a photo...?
