Bought a nice new Panasonic GT30 (42") recently and need to replace my not so old Denon 1910.(Due to it not being able to run 3D).Must say ive been more than happy with the 1910 so really wnated to go for another Denon apart from the 1912 getting bad press.
Seen few threads on here and its replacement the 1912 doesnt get very good reports from most avenues..
So what would be my best bet..
    The DENON 1912
    The DENON 2312
    The ONKYO 609
    YAMAHA RXV671..
All in my price range of £500ish...
More for movies than music as im running ok surround package.Q Acoustics pack.
Advice please while the sales are on much appreciated..:smashin:

I can not see the Denon 1912 being much different to your current 1910 so if you like what you have currently I see no reason not to get one especially since they are under £300 currently.

But is it worth me stretching to a 2312 ..As they are approx £400..
Thats what i paid for the 1910...
    Or just get the 1920..

The 2312 is good value at the moment but it really needs better speakers than the QAs you have to get the best from it. Hence I would be tempted to save the £150 and get the 1912.

    Fair enough ...
I gave RS a call today and was told the 2312 is out of stock in my branch and they wouldnt be sourcing one from anywere else in case of damgage or cosmetic probs...so thats out.
Bloke really did advise not to go for the 1920 as it wasnt a great upgrade form the much better built 1910 i own(his words)
Did advise me to opt for the YAMAHA RXV671...and not the ONKYO 609....
Looking at the back of my old 1910 and the new 1920 its quite apparent that the build quality is not there in the 1920...
The yamaha also doesnt look as good either...
    Any other suggestions....
