Repairing a Denon AV amp - advice please

Novice Member
Hi, My faithful Denon Home Cinema amp has lost its surround channels, though the stereo channels seem to be sound. Would welcome advice on whether its worth repairing given advances in AVRs since it was built c2008, compared with replacing. It was a powerful amp and really drove my Kef 'eggs' well in both music and effects soundtracks.
Unfortunately my budget will not stretch to hi-end silly money replacements, and would be happy to consider second hand amps (few years old) that would be equivalent on Ebay etc.
Many thanks

Maybe you have lost your surround channels because your Denon has been set to Stereo. If not try a factory reset to see if that makes any difference.
