Repairer for my Avic-x1BT??

Standard Member

My Avicx1-BT is in a bit of a bad way. i was messing with my external amp when i acidently shorted out one of the wires, after that all i could hear from the speakers was a loud buzzing, even with stereo off and it wouldnt power up right. so i took it out and read up about an internal fuse so stupid me opened it up to look for it but couldnt see anything but in doing so ive screwed it up. ive changed the car battery which was what died, the HU powers up and the buzzing is gone but i now get a message saying something like "error, cannot read main drive".

there is a tiny tiny tear in the U shaped ribbon, would this be the cause?

all in all from what i can see is:

U shaped ribbon tiny tear
1 of the short ribbon "hold down" clips broke
think micro switch broke

do you know of anyone who can give me a ball park figure to do the work? ive moved house recently and its getting damaged with being all open.

thanks :D
