Repair of Rega Planar 3

Hi,

I don't know if anyone can help me. I have an old Rega Planar 3 which is in need of some repair (nothing major, new phono leads soldering in and a new cart).

I come from Dunstable in Bedfordshire, can anyone recommend a place to take/send it that charges reasonable prices?

Any help would be really appreciated as I have a loft full of forgotten vinyl that needs rediscovering!

I sent my rega RB 250 arm to Origin Live to be rewired. Had a few other things done ISTR. May also be worth mailing Rega themselves.

I may be wrong, but isn't the phono lead on the Rega arm a simple plug-in to the base of the arm?

OP, what kind of arm is on it - the old S-shaped silver one, or the newer straight-tube black style?

Also - installing a cartridge is a straightforward job, assuming reasonably nimble fingers. You could do this yourself.....
